Ivana Cujova

Welcome to the official website of I Wanna Ivana. I am thrilled to have you here and appreciate your interest in getting to know more about me.

Let me share with you the story of how my journey as a personal trainer began and the steps I took to achieve this role.

I grew up in Slovakia until I turned 21, and during my childhood, I developed a strong passion for a wide range of sports and activities. Despite my mother’s attempts to restrict my hobbies, I continued to pursue multiple interests. I actively took part in athletics at the local club, enjoyed playing volleyball and ping-pong, and had a profound love for music and art.

Although I may not have been exceptionally talented in the arts, I enthusiastically played the electric piano, attended drawing school to improve my artistic skills, sang in a chorus, and even continued dancing the national dance. These experiences allowed me to explore my creativity and express myself in various forms.

Sports were an integral part of my life, so it was natural for me to pursue a university education related to this passion. During my third year at Comenius University in Bratislava, I seized an opportunity to broaden my horizons and applied for the Erasmus program in Madrid. I was fortunate to be accepted and spent two years studying at The Faculty of Sciences for Physical Activity and Sport.

During my time in Madrid, I pursued a master’s degree in swimming and became a certified swimming coach. For the following decade, I dedicated myself to teaching swimming to children, adults, and seniors, sharing my knowledge and helping others develop their skills in the water.

After completing five years of studying Sport Sciences in Slovakia, specializing in activities for seniors, I decided to continue my journey in Madrid, where exciting opportunities awaited me. I began working as a Personal Trainer and Pilates instructor at the prestigious VIP club Reebok Sport Club La Finca (now David LLoyd La Finca). Additionally, I had the privilege of serving as a News Presenter for IFBB TV, as well as working as a fitness competitor and model for Weider company and fitness apparel.

After spending 11 fulfilling years in Madrid, I decided to embark on a new adventure and relocated to the picturesque city of Marbella in the south of Spain. This move allowed me to immerse myself in diverse cultures, languages, and training activities. My three-year stay in Marbella proved to be an incredible experience that broadened my horizons both personally and professionally.

It was during my time in Marbella that I first discovered the transformative power of the Stick Mobility technique. This revolutionary training system enhanced my flexibility, strength, and coordination. Motivated to delve deeper into this technique, I made the decision to travel to California in 2019 to obtain my Stick Mobility certification. This journey enriched me with invaluable knowledge and expertise.

Although my time in Marbella was fulfilling, I felt a calling to explore new possibilities. Thus, I made the exciting decision to relocate once again, this time to Geneva. It has been five years since I settled in Geneva, and I am proud to say that I have established my own Holistic Personal Training company called IvanaFit.

Studying has always been a passion of mine, and my enthusiasm for marketing led me to pursue a degree in Community Management, which I obtained in 2019. This knowledge and skillset have been instrumental in realizing my dream of building my own company.

I am thrilled to be living in Geneva and running my Holistic Personal Training business. Every day, I am inspired to help others achieve their fitness goals while providing a holistic approach to their overall well-being. With a passion for continuous learning and a drive to create a positive impact, I am excited for the future of IvanaFit and the opportunities that lie ahead.
